At Tempest, our approach to anxiety therapy starts with teaching clients how to interrupt this response. Clients learn to reset their brain through a combination of physical and mental relaxation exercises. Shaped by the neuroscience of anxiety, these exercises work to reduce symptoms to a more manageable level.

Once clients are better able to manage their symptoms, we focus on addressing the underlying cause: the body’s interpretation of certain natural life interactions as threatening. By challenging and overcoming these underlying beliefs, clients can retrain their brain and recover their ability to function at the height of their potential.
